AVERT - AVERTing HIV and AIDS

Fundraising

Raising money is a fantastic way to support us, the AIDS charity AVERT. It can be a great way to do something fun and exciting at the same time as raising money and awareness.

Here are a few ideas about how you could fundraise, but there is no need to stick to the things on the list, let your imagination guide you!

Other ways to fundraise

  • Just Giving.com
  • This is a very effective way to get sponsored. You can set up a sponsorship website very easily, you are guided through step by step. Once your site is set up, all you have to do is direct everyone possible to it, and they can give easily and securely.
  • We found it works a charm!
  • Sell on eBay
  • Like an online bring and buy sale. You can sell things on eBay and direct the profits (or a percentage of them) to AVERT.
  • Give as you earn
  • Ask your employer to set up an easy way for you to help regularly.
